In this weeks Entertainment Weekly there's a tiny blurb about Daniel Craig where he mentions they hope to start shooting Bond 22 in January 2008, but prior to that, he'll shoot the drama Flashbacks of a fool - "It's a small movie, but very exciting for me because I've been [developing it] for years now".
She [Helen McCrory] will next work on Bayley Walsh's Flashbacks of a Fool with Daniel Craig...

Вот это как раз меня беспокоит в первую очередь.
Не люблю актеров, которые играют в каждом 2м фильме в году. Думаю Дэн будет все-таки брать с пример с таких людей типа Джуди Дэнч. Качеством, а не кол-вом брать.

да... в такую неприятность попали даже мЭтры - Николсон и Де Ниро, стали сниматься во всем подряд, я была очень расстроена по этому поводу... но пока Дэниэл радовал подбором ролей (если не считать попандосы вроде "Лары Крофт"

Ну, с "Ларой" тут как раз всё закономерно и понятно. Ему надо было закрепляться в Голливуде, а "Лара" из категории проектов, который, если и не все смотрели,то о нем все слышали.
Качеством, а не кол-вом брать.
Насколько я поняла, у него большинство проектов до Бонда 22 малобюджетные, т.е возвращается к истокам :good:

CANNES -- Daniel Craig will play a fading Hollywood star in Baillie Walsh's "Flashbacks of a Fool," which starts shooting May 28 in South Africa and London.
Craig has joined the cast alongside Helen McCrory, Olivia Williams, Emilia Fox and Eve. Pic is the feature writing and directing debut of Walsh, an award-winning musicvid helmer. It's produced by Lene Bausager and Damon Bryant, with Craig as exec producer.
Buena Vista Intl. has picked up U.K. rights, with international sales handled by Arclight.

Новый 007 Дэниел Крейг горит на работе. В марте он подписался на участие в драме "Слепота" с Джулианной Мур, неделю назад на согласился участвовать в военной драме Эдварда Цвика "Вызов", а вот сегодня с лёгкостью принял приглашение дебютанта-клипмейкера Бэйлли Уолша сыграть в его фильме "Воспоминания неудачника" (Flashbacks of a Fool).
Сам Уолш и сценарий написал, впервые в жизни. В нём англичанин-гедонист – известный в Голливуде в 1940-е актёр – переживает утрату интереса к своей персоне, его популярность заметно снижается и карьера полным ходом летит в пропасть.
Вместе с Крейгом в фильме играют Хелен МакКрори, Оливия Уильямс и Эмилия Фокс.

'007' fools around in the Cape
Bond movie star Daniel Craig touched down in Cape Town on Saturday to play a pleasure-seeking fool.
Craig arrived for his new movie Flashbacks of a Fool and almost immediately started shooting at the airport. Filming in and around the Mother City is scheduled to last around a month.
Craig was accompanied by film producer girlfriend Satsuki Mitchell.
Craig, the latest James Bond, is playing a hedonistic British actor whose Hollywood career is starting to nosedive. The death of his best friend from his English childhood causes him to journey back home for the funeral, and prompts flashbacks to his teenage experiences - including the tragedy that forced him to flee to the United States and a new life.
The movie also stars Helen McCrory, Olivia Williams and Emilia Fox. The movie is the feature-writing and directing debut of Baillie Walsh, an award-winning music video producer. Craig is executive producer.
After landing 30 minutes late at Cape Town International yesterday, Craig was quickly escorted through customs and immigration by attentive ground staff.
Elaborate security arrangements designed to keep his arrival top secret were laid on so that Craig could slip out of a side entrance
. But he wasn't taking any chances.
In spite of the presence of his personal bodyguard and a South African bodyguard doubling as his driver - plus several immigration and airport officials and a waiting police escort - Craig popped his head around the door to check that all was clear. Then, protected by minders, he dashed to a waiting car where he sat for 10 minutes behind tinted windows, waiting for his luggage to be cleared.
James Bond would have been very embarrassed by what happened next. At the airport exit, his minder pulled up too far away from the boom control and had to climb out of the car to feed his card into the slot.
Then Craig was forced to endure a slow crawl on the highway thanks to a pile-up a kilometre ahead.
He checked into his hotel and freshened up before returning to the airport for shooting.
Preparations have been going on for the past few weeks at a number of sets around Cape Town. Insiders say Craig will have a couple of days to enjoy the pleasures of the Cape before the hard work begins.

The new James Bond just wasn't that elusive.
British star Daniel Craig was spotted in Bantry Bay on Tuesday filming his latest movie, Flashbacks of a Fool.
Work began early on Tuesday with the setting up of a scene in front of a restaurant.
The set involved a black Range Rover Sport parked at the entrance and crew members were preparing the vehicle before Craig arrived just after 9am.
The long wait for the star of Casino Royale was rewarded when he appeared sporting sunglasses, a cool white shirt and blue jeans.
Bodyguards and the rest of his entourage tried to shield the new 007 from the media.
Craig, who arrived in the city at the weekend, was in action almost immediately.
There were a few takes, with Craig in the Range Rover talking on his cellphone, then getting out and loudly delivering another line.
He is expected to be shooting in the city for a month.

He comes back to Britain for a funeral following the death of his best friend from his childhood years in an English seaside town. The experience sparks flashbacks of his younger years, and of a tragedy which forced him to look for a new life in the US.
The film, announced recently at the Cannes Film Festival, also stars British actresses Helen McCrory, Olivia Williams and Emilia Fox.

Bond star films at royale mansion
The star of Casino Royale, Daniel Craig, arrived in the Cape three weeks ago and finished filming on Thursday.
He spent much of his time inside a 10-bedroomed mansion in Llandudno which has been at the centre of legal wrangling since it was built in 2000.
The house is owned by Johannesburg businessman Mel Cunningham and is being sold by Conrad Steinhobel of Lew Geffen Sothebys International Realty in Hout Bay for a staggering R48-million.
Some years back, Cunningham hosted two super-famous house-shoppers: Elton John and David Beckham.
Of Craig, Cunningham said: "Ya, it was quite interesting. Nice chap, very humble.
"I thought he was one of the better Bonds, other than Sean Connery of course, because of my age."
Craig was working on the movie Flashbacks Of A Fool, being filmed locally by Moonlighting.
Daniel Craig project to start UK portion of shoot: Bailie Walsh's Flashbacks of A Fool had been shooting in South Africa since May 28 and will move to the UK on July 4.
